MDS is opening a new project to help people rebuild homes in Willow, Alaska. In 2019, the McKinley Fire burned 3,288 acres and destroyed 139 buildings in a small town of 2,100 people. The project will run from July 13 through September 14. Volunteers are required to serve two weeks. For more information, visit the MDS website under “current volunteer openings” or contact Jim Buckingham at (260) 525-1175.
