First Mennonite Children's Ministries
Nursery care
Newborn–23 Months find their place in the Baby Nursery: Available during each service at the church.
2–3 year olds receive care next door to the nursery: Available Sunday Mornings, Wednesday Evenings, as well as other Special Services
Sunday school
Sunday School Classes are available for children age 2 through 5th grade each Sunday morning from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Nursery care is provided for all children below the age of 2. Everyone is invited to participate in a Sunday School class! Children follow a standard curriculum from Gospel Light (age 3-Kg) and Heart Shaper (grades 1-5).
Ages 2-Kg go directly to their specified classrooms.
Grades 1-5 gather in the Spotlight Room for a group opening time, then break into grade level teaching.
children's church
Offered during the 10 o'clock worship service, children are dismissed from the sanctuary to two locations:
Ages 4-Kg meet at the bottom of the ramp for an interactive service based on stories from the Bible. Teachers and helpers facilitate a story time, activities, snack, and games.
1st-5th grades meet in the Family Life Center for singing, prayer, Bible teaching and multi-media activities. *Note, they remain in the service every 4th & 5th Sunday.
At the conclusion of the church service, parents meet their children in those locations.
The SUPERBOOK curriculum is used for grades 1-5.

wednesday nights
Beginning with the Annual Fall Kick-Off at the end of August, Wed. Night Programming for children runs through the end of each school year in May.
2's & 3's enjoy unstructured play and a short Bible story.
4 year olds - Kg delight in adventures with Topher the Gopher as they learn Bible stories, play games, and do activities & crafts to help reinforce the "Big Idea" as well as the current Bible verse they are learning.
Elementary spent the year learning from individuals from within the congregation who shared their talents and how God uses them.

jr. quizzing
This group meets on Sundays at 5:15 P.M. from October - February.

toddler gym jump around
Join other toddlers and young children with their caregivers in the Family Life Center on the second Thursday of each month (September-May) from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and enjoy some fun with your little ones! Everyone is welcome!
