Das Märit Farmers and Artists Market

The 2023 das Märit Farmers and Artists Market will begin Saturday, May 13 from 8:00 - noon across from the Muensterberg Clock Tower and will continue to be open on Saturday mornings through mid-October. The market is a not-for-profit ministry of First Mennonite Church with the goal of serving the mind, body and spirit of our community in the name of God.

New vendors who "Make it, Bake it, or Grow it" are welcome. During the 2022 season 56 market vendors had total sales of more than $50,000.

Vendors selling produce or baked goods should be aware of new Indiana law HEA 1149 that requires the vendor to obtain a food handler certification. For more information about becoming a vendor call Becky Lehman at 260-849-1603 or Hazel Lautzenheiser at 260-849-0527.
